MIO 168, I have installed the software and maps but I can't get a signal?
Likely that the setting for the Mio receiver hasn't been configured.
Open up 'TomTom' - Click on 'More' icon - Click on 'GPS' Satellite icon - Click on 'GPS' Tab - Uncheck the 'Tick' box - 1st drop down menu should be TomTom ?, 2nd Drop down menu should read 'SP2'.
Recheck tick box and return to Settings screen.
Resetting iPod
Most problems can be solved by restting the unit.
1. Connect iPod to a power outlet
2. Toggle the Hold switch on and off.
3. Press and hold the Select and Menu buttons for at least 6 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
iPod will not respond.
1. Make sure Hold switch is off
2. If you are using remote, make sure remote's Hold is off.
3. If that doesn't work, connect iPod to a power source. It may need recharging.
4. If that doesn't work, iPod may need ressetting.
5. If that doesn't work, you may need to restore iPod software. See p. 32 in manual.
