Nokia have announced a new device today called the Nokia 500 - with a 1GHz processor and running Symbian Anna OS - it is actually the fastest symbian device to date.
The device also boasts a 5MP camera and 2GB internal memory, not forgetting Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. Symbian may not have been the most popular mobile OS, but at a price point of under £199.99 inc VAT this device certainly stands out.
Not only can you personalise the multiple homescreens, Nokia have also provide 2 addtional back covers with the device so you can personalise the casing as well. Last but not least to mention is the Free turn by turn voice navigation that Nokia seems to provide as standard now with it’s devices - which we feel is a nice addition.

Everyone knows that iPhones, iPads, and other Apple mobile computing devices are set up to access iTunes (if not the largest music store in the world, certainly one of the largest) and the App Store. It’s one of the iPhone’s strongest selling points - you can extend the function of your phone with whatever apps suit you best. While we do sometimes keep the sim free iPhone in stock and there is no doubt that it’s a great phone, it’s worth remembering that there are hundreds of great apps available for Android phones too.
If you’re got a sim free Sony Ericsson Android phone, for example, you can’t use iPhone apps from the App Store, but shop at the Android Marketplace and you’ll find thousands upon thousands of high quality apps coded especially for your phone’s operating system. Like iPhone apps, some are available completely free of charge and some require payment.
Some of the apps in the Android Marketplace can also be found in the iPhone App Store. Different versions are available for the iPhone 5 and the Android phones like the sim free Samsung Galaxy S 2, which is one of our top models. If you currently have an iPhone and are addicted to Fruit Ninja or Angry Birds there is no need to worry when moving away from Apple - those are both available for Android phones too.
There are apps for everything, from Google Maps to eBay to educational games to keep kids amused on a long car journey. Anything an Apple app can do, an Android app can do too.
Following the super successful Black Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100, Samsung have decided to release a stunning white version. The expected release date for this device is 15th August 2011 and with a sim free price of £492.00 inc VAT at SuperEtrader with Free UK Shipping!
With most of our sim free mobile phones you get a single battery, a phone unit, a charger, and maybe a data transfer cable and a set of headphones. Of course there will also be a handbook and warranty information in the box too, but it’s sometimes useful to have a little more than that. Most users will want to pick up a case to protect the sensitive touch screen of their smart phone, and it’s also good to have a spare battery.
Having two sets of mobile phone batteries means that you can keep a spare charged up and waiting in reserve. Modern phone batteries are tiny and very self-contained, so you can safely leave one in your briefcase or bag at work or school. If the phone is running low there is no need to go home and charge it. Just switch the batteries over.
A spare is especially handy on the road. When travelling it may not be easy to find a secure place to plug in a valuable sim free Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and leave it unattended for a couple of hours. Taking along a spare battery takes the stress out of recharging and means you can use your phone to your heart’s content, even if you’re just listening to some music on a long bus journey or whiling away the hours playing games in an airport lounge.
When you’ve decided on the perfect phone and made the purchase, pick up a case and any other accessories you might want, and grab a spare battery too. You’ll never have to worry about low power again.
